Projects
The Trust managed to locate a suitable spot in Kozhikode extending over five acres of beautiful landscape which they procured for starting a Universal Academy after the model of Vishwabharathi of Rabindranath Tagore. The plot is calm and quiet and adequately away from the din and bustles of the town and is most suited for the business of teaching and learning. Necessary documentary spade works have been carried out on a war footing and we are working hard to make the project start functioning in the next academic year. All necessary steps have been taken to start the construction of the building and the foundation stone will be laid on 27th November 2010.

In the mean while negotiations are going on for the purchase of a couple of schools in the adjoining regions so as to form a corporate educational complex.

A proposal to start a school for imparting lessons in ‘Vedanantha’ is also on the anvil. Our ultimate goal is to establish a university, deemed or otherwise in the model of the great Vishwa Bharathi of Rabindranath Tagore. Further we are going to establish a full-fledged museum at Pazhassi in Kannur District where the warrior king was born.

Another ambitious project we are going to undertake is the establishment of Pazhassi Houses in all the States of India with a view to facilitating programs that would cater to the patriotic and nationalistic requirements of the time. We are also planning to start Medical and Engineering Colleges with international standards in the areas where quality institutions are not available right now.

The projects enumerated above may appear a little too ambitious for an infant organization like ours. But we are confident that with the unstinted favor and support of the well-meaning people around us and the supportive Governments in the country we can make it a reality.

We strongly believe that all well-meaning people and Governments will support us. We further believe that in a period of tumultuous conflicts and unrest, our projects would be the effective answers.

We are once again blessed with the rarest of opportunities of conducting this year’s award distribution ceremony in New Delhi again a third time. This year we are trying to honor eminent personalities from across the world. The Trust has identified some of the brilliant luminaries who have proven supremacy in their respective fields. We whole heartedly express our sincere thanks to the first citizen of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil for having been so gracious as to let us conduct the Pazhassi Raja Award distribution ceremony during the last two years at the magnificent premises of Rashtrapathy Bhavan.
